UKTATM Ethnopharmacy Module — Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility and Enrolment

The Ethnopharmacy Module is open to individuals aged 18 and over.

Applicants should have a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Western medicine, or related healthcare disciplines.

A good command of English is required, as the course will be delivered in English.

Places are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Your place is only secured upon full payment or receipt of the first installment.

2. Course Format

The course comprises 40 hours of scheduled learning and 160 hours of independent study (total: 200 hours).

Sessions may be delivered online or in-person. UKTATM reserves the right to adjust the delivery method when necessary.

Herb samples and product-making materials maybe provided for UK participants. Additional shipping charges may apply for international students.

3. Attendance and Participation

Students are expected to attend all scheduled lectures, workshops, and discussions.

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded only to students who meet the attendance and coursework requirements.

4. Fees and Payment

All fees must be paid before the course begins. Late payments may result in loss of access or placement.

5. Referral Scheme

Both the referrer and the referred participant will receive a £20 tuition benefit.

The referred applicant must include the referrer’s full name and email address in the application form.

Referral benefits will be processed as a partial refund or course credit once the referred participant’s enrolment is confirmed.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made 14 days or more before the course start date are eligible for a 75% refund.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before the start date are non-refundable, but may be credited toward a future UKTATM course at our discretion.

If UKTATM cancels the course, a full refund will be issued.

7. Course Changes

UKTATM reserves the right to make changes to course content, instructors, schedule, or delivery format as needed.

Guest lecturers, tours, and venues may be substituted or delivered virtually when appropriate.

8. Certification

A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon full participation and satisfactory completion of all course requirements.

This module can be credited toward the UKTATM Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine, subject to academic approval.

9. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, slides, and handouts, remain the intellectual property of UKTATM.

Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

10. Data Protection

Your personal data will be used solely for course administration and communication purposes.

UKTATM complies with UK GDPR regulations and will not share your data without your consent.

11. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to act respectfully toward instructors and peers.

Disruptive behaviour, harassment, or academic misconduct may result in removal from the course without refund or certification.
